Venice people mover

This thing just came up in my head. It's a kinda subway but it's not. And it has no driver.

When the man at the train station told us about the 'people mover', we had no idea what to expect. A bus? A train? A moving walkway?
Then i asked what it was. That's the moment the proud Italian train man freaked out.
"Iffe you lette me finish, I can tell you exactely......" (fonetic Italian voice lol)

All those memories about my Interrail holiday last Summer are starting to come back these days. Maybe i need a holiday.

Nail art: Monarch Butterfly

My project for hours, yesterday i saw this tutorial how to make Monarch Butterfly nails & decided to give it a try!
I used Kiko nail polish (orange), Essence nail art pen (black) and for the dots Catrice nail polish (in 470-Snow Motion!).

Yukimi rules

Yesterday i attended Little Dragon's concert @ Lantaren/Venster Rotterdam with Nancy. It was a chill evening: cool band + nice music + chill audience.
And the Swedish-Japanese lead singer Yukimi Nagano is just SO awesome.

Today i found some Europe stamps so i decided to start Postcrossing again! Wrote 3 cards; to Lithuania, Germany and Finland. So sorry for the addresses outside of Europe, i'll send you when i have stamps again. And money. Someday.
Best part of Postcrossing is receiving cards so i'm excited.

No minute left

Monday to Friday: from 9 to 5 at my internship - sharing an office with internshipgirl - staring at pc all those hours - havin a small walk - a 30 minute break - hurting fingers from typing - burning pc-shaped eyes - bit of talking with the press guys - going home - eat - relaxing for a moment - intensely tired - sleep.

Saturday: wake up early - going to The Hague for an Indonesian event (pasar kliling) - good food - some shopping - home.
Sunday: wake up early - off to Rotterdam - Primark - back to center of Rotterdam for some shopping - rainnn & coldness - watching Due Date at the cinema - home.

You see, I NEED MORE WEEKEND

Yes! Pathé Unlimited Card

Last week my mum got me a Pathé Unlimited Card for 4 months, yay! It means i can go to every film at a Pathé cinéma for free (except for 3D ones). I already went to the films above in the last 3 days. I loved Inception, The Joneses & Step Up still warms my heart with all the dancing stuff!
Today i'm going to see 'Dinner for schmucks' with my sister. Not a regular choice for me, but when you don't have to pay you'll easier with giving every movie a chance ;)

LOL it's VIVE not VIVA gars

Yayyy happiness! Today i received the results of my French exams and i made it : D My results were 69/100 but when i had 70/100 i would receive the title 'bien' arghhhhh I WANT THAT.
Okay no complaints i did it & i'm happy so maybe i'll be joining next year again!

PS: Today i ate the other half of my Ben & Jerry pint of Chunky Monkey and omg now i feel guilty...

Early evening activity

Oh no!

Another product died!
My loving studentcard for public transport has a stop for the coming four weeks... which means i can't use the public transport in the Netherlands without paying anything. Yuck it hurts.

To get the most out of my card i went to Rotterdam after work with Nancy. We had some supernice McDo stuff + she joined me at a piercingshop to get my ears more pierced! Right now i got three in my right ear & two in my left.. after getting those 2 new ones i'm feeling i need more of them ahahaha. Satisfaction.

A day at the circus

Yesterday i went to a circus performance with my mum as an early Mother's Day gift. It was called Michto and performed by the French "La famille Morallès".

All the family members are multi talents (singing, trapeze acts, making music, juggling, acting, etc.) and even their kids from like 3-8 years old did amazing stunts. 

There were no animals in the show except from a tiny dog & some beautiful white doves, which they threated well (not really.. but okay). I thought it was a pretty great show, completely different from 'normal' circus performances! The show is part of the Circusstad Festival in Rotterdam which is from 1-5 May.   

Oh and after i made these pics a stressed out young girl -who's definitely a new employee there hehe- whispered to me it was not allowed to take pictures. Okay i respect that, but it sounded SO incredibly stupid, because the circus performers told like 5 minutes before that they accept cameras but only when it's without flash! Like what. Don't you speak English? 
They might be singing in French & Spanish but this was a clear English message. 

Monday.

  Haven't found them..
• Checking out blogs, seeking sites, reading my horoscope & finding out Sonia Rykiel will release an underwear/accessory line for H&M @ December 5th, and a knitwear collection @ February 20th.
  Run people, run!!
• Watched to the Dutch movie "Carmen van het Noorden" at the cinema
  Yess. It's true. Most of the Dutch movies are bad. Very bad. Dutch directors always put naked bodies in it as if that's the remedy for the badness. It's NOT.
