Frozen alive

Today i worked at Rotterdam Central Station to help people finding the locations of International Film Festival.
Five hours outside in the rain, damnnnn. But besides the conditions it felt good to work for the festival again for a day.

Got these bottles of wine as a gift of the high schools i visited for work. Nowadays i work for Inholland University (i also study there) where i represent them at several high schools, to promote Inholland and to help kids find a study they might like.

I'm slowly starting to pack for my 3 week Europe trip.
Buying some stuff from time to time, putting it in the trolley bag... Think i gonna miss my all day access to the Internet, blogging also. It seems fun to me to blog while being on the road, but it's not gonna work properly + leaving my laptop at home is a safer plan.

One school thing bothers me and i have one last day at work.. Thursday it's all done! For now we have sun, heat & school work.

Wednesday was kinda bummer, because we had to correct some stuff.... not motivated anymore so we'll see.
Also i had to work more this week, what obviously is a bad combination with staying up late lol.

I feel awkward. My last day at work is tomorrow. Leaving the people i like so much. Like i'm closing a chapter in a book. Not voluntarily so someone else is closing it instantly. No choice.
Maybe it's good or just the start of one job-hopping career.
Sure i can meet them but nothing will be the same. Advantage is that a lot of people are moving now. I'm not leaving a business where everything will stay the same. I jump out of a tornado. Everything's gonna change in there. Good luck for the guys who are staying.

23 may is the weirdest day of 2011

Crazy things at work - people who tell pretty lies - deceased classmate would've turned 22 - school project that doesn't work out well - too much to do - too much emails from my group members - everything goes wrong today. 

Oh and to choose the best thing of all the damned things; i haven't won the Lotto yet.

Unavailable if you need me to do something

Leave me alone. I don't wanna do yar work or receive any school or work messages i get at the moment. Like all day long.
How good would it be to quit telephone/facebook/the whole internet for some time. Just like the guys at work that haven't got the slightest idea what to do with facebook. In the end it is true, WHAT TO DO WITH FACEBOOK. What's up with it really. This thought only causes me headaches.

I picture myself in the garden, with no need to do anything. Just relaxing & drawing or something (not that i'm a good drawer, but still). Gimme. Now.

Disney: Must. Do. It. Someday

I don't know what to do with my life at the moment. But when i finish school and haven't got any idea yet, i see myself working in Disneyland Resort Paris. Well... not seeing but i would love to try it! This thought came from a audition call i saw on the internet in Amsterdam this month. It makes me feel happy. 

We're looking for precision car drivers and expert motorcycle riders for "Lights, Motors, Action!™ Extreme Stunt Show" at Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and "Moteurs... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular" at Disneyland Paris in France.

Wowww it makes me wanna be a stunt driver too. Coolest job EVER . Who can say he works in the show "Moteurs...Action!" in Disney 0_0

Preparing for IFFR....

Whoohoooo it's almost time for Rotterdam's best moment in the year, the 40th International Film Festival Rotterdam:

Monday - volunteer ticket reservation time
Tuesday - first shift at the merchandise booth
Wednesday - getting my pass and stuff + evening shift at merch
Thursday - first day to watch moviessss!

Food = good

Coming Thursday i'm invited for a job interview as volunteer at the 40th edition of IFFR. Yay excited, the best cultural festival of Rotterdam if you ask me. Looking forward to 26 Jan - 6 Feb.

Today i realized it is already week 11/20 of my internship. When i told the press guys i would be leavin in January and they were like 'what? and then? do you come back? no?!', i felt sad.

Sad because these guys are probably the most honest people i ever met. You just feel they are truly happy to have you as company, they just say it right in your face when they think you look nice (or strange, even though you don't want to know that) and they're not hiding anything for you. That's why i like to be around them.

No whispers, no secrets, no gossip about each other. Just a bunch of guys together & an extremely dry sense of humour. Oh and they sing terribly loud all day, i guess it would freak you out if you're not used to it.

No minute left

Monday to Friday: from 9 to 5 at my internship - sharing an office with internshipgirl - staring at pc all those hours - havin a small walk - a 30 minute break - hurting fingers from typing - burning pc-shaped eyes - bit of talking with the press guys - going home - eat - relaxing for a moment - intensely tired - sleep.

Saturday: wake up early - going to The Hague for an Indonesian event (pasar kliling) - good food - some shopping - home.
Sunday: wake up early - off to Rotterdam - Primark - back to center of Rotterdam for some shopping - rainnn & coldness - watching Due Date at the cinema - home.

You see, I NEED MORE WEEKEND

Today i felt like a copy shitty

• I copied seriously half a book while hearing her say 'i know it's a lot, but it's for yourself'. WHUT for myself?! What am i gonna do with the paper crap then? Is it mine at the end of my internship?
  
• I blinked my eyes like 962735 times a minute while obsessively watching the time. Hoping the minutes would just disappear. Didn't work out.
  
• I slept too long so i had to stay for an extra 30 minutes. Not for myself of course but the deadly stare i received said enough.

Ultimate juggling song

This week i was mainly learning how to juggle at my job with Circus Rotjeknor which i enjoyed incredibly much, i'm really gonna miss those guys lol but later i'm gonna join some trainings when they're around too.
Above you can play one of the songs we played everyday, beside a lotttt of Bob Marley. Ultimate chillness. Best job ever.

Kids are tiresome

At the moment i feel kinda ruined, don't know what's the exact cause but maybe non stop workingg. I'm a bit dizzy, head aching, painful shoulders + legs like i've played a World Of Warcraft LAN Party Marathon these days. HAHAHA really i have no idea where i'm talking about but it sounds sickening right?!
Another three days to go at the Circus Rotjeknor area in Ahoy' where i help & entertain kids, learn how to juggle, hate a boy who's kind of a racist, and have some very chill people around me (with the cutest son on earth!).
