Queen's Day

Not my pics, but it's to show some impressions of Queen's Day in The Netherlands.
It's a national holiday (always on April 30th) to celebrate the birthday of the queen. There are flea markets in almost every city, music events, open-air parties  & most people dress up in orange.

My Q-Day was in Rotterdam with some friends at the open-air party there. Although there were the craziest & cheapest-looking people around it was nice, sunny and very crowded & i met up with a good friend of mine i hadn't seen for a while :)

I need summer wear

Tomorrow i'm going to Amsterdam with mum, hope to find some clothes that fit the sunny weather wuuu

Sunny cycle

Yesterday and today we cycled around in Rotterdam, all together more than 40 kms! Hooray! 

It was a joyful sunny day

Washing my car, meeting up with a friend, enjoying the sun in a cabriolet, getting some motorcycle parts, getting some ice cream, all relaxed.

Sunday: Metropolis Festival Rotterdam

After a warm, but rainy Saturday it was time for a sunny Sunday;
almost crying after losing our food & drinks - laying on the field eating an overpaid hamburger - Hef & Önder lol - relaxed people around me - nice music - heat - sun - David Baruchel - no hurries no worries - dancing - nice smells hehe - yelling - Babylon Circus - singing along for life - having fun - smiles - popcorn - waffle - sunset - deserted & wrong subway station - Rotown - long nice happy sleep........and *poof* it was Monday again!

It's another nail polish from Catrice: Ultimate Nail Lacquer named '010 - Don't Feed The Birds'. The silver dots i made with Sally Hansen's Nail Art Pen. A kinda strange color i know, but with this heat & summer feeling i didn't care. Just had to try it! 

P.S. This weekend starts Tour de France in Rotterdam, i'm kinda excited! : D Buttt Sunday is Metropolis Festival, also in Rotterdam (Babylon Circus yayyy!); Double French, double excited!

Lol i couldn't find a nice pic, so a short video this time ;p

Today i watched soccer @ Dado bar in Rotterdam; it was unbelievably superhot and crowded in there but also a very nice atmosphere, way better than watching at home if you ask me hehe.
Everyone was screaming & dancing when they made a goal!

Unfortunately i don't think Holland is gonna make it coming Friday against Brazil... but we'll see!

Home-made: It tasted gooood

Liberation Day! The date that World War II ended in the Netherlands. It's always a happy day with a lot of activities and in the bigger cities there are music festivals.

Last year was memorable for me lol, because my addiction called Babylon Circus started at this festival in Rotterdam. Today the line-up wasn't very interesting so i stayed in Barendrecht, where some local bands played. The sun started shining again so it was pretty nice.

Return of the Flower Dress

My inner hippie speaks again. One sunny Sunday and my head says wear it, wear the flower dress! Forgive me: i haven't even polished my nails, i just ran outside immediately xD

The sun on my head, a mint tea in my hand & my neighbour's radio is singing Hey soulsister. Life's good.
