Caviar nails

Spotted this trend on the blogs recently; caviar nails.
Ciaté made a beautiful but expensive set for caviar manicure, but i decided to buy the 'mini beads' on Ebay. Same effect, way cheaper.

One thing. Wearing this kind of nail art isn't handy. Stuck in your hair, feels weird, constantly being careful not losing any beads. But the effect ís worth it!

My wish is to buy a complete tray of Kidrobot blind boxes.
The Azteca collection is hot right now & when you have a 'chaser' (limited figure) you actually can make money out of that one. They're so exciting in a way you don't know what figure is inside. Yeah i know, i'm obsessed with plastic figures. And i know, it's smarter to collect a complete serie than to buy a couple of pieces of every serie... like i do now.

The whole audience waited for his speech before the IFFR film
'Le Havre' started. There he stood, watching the ground, stumbling some phrases as if he doesn't speak English at all. Everyone instantly loved the Finnish director Aki Kaurismäki.

Not the famous Monte Carlo Circus, not one of my faves Babylon Circus, but tonight we're going to Circus Royal! I'm a sucker for circus acts, no idea why but can't get enough of it.

London was so great again! Lots of shopping and running around the city, there was so much to see. Only the busdriver made our trip a little harder, first he brought us almost two hours later and then in the evening he made us wait an hour and a half before he arrived with the bus. IN THE FRIGGIN FREEZIN RAINY NIGHT. INSANE. Bedankt Milot Reizen.
Besides that, the recently opened shopping mall Westfield Stratford City (close to the Olympic Stadium) is perfectly big and everything you wish for. Only Kiko Cosmetics was overpriced, so next time in Italy or Germany i'll buy a LOAD of that.

American Apparel buys

Last Friday i went to the big American Apparel sale @ Westergasfabriek Amsterdam. We left Rotterdam at 7 AM (so hardcore lol) and around 9 we were ready to shop! Bought this hooded scarf and the cute flower mesh jumper, love it. 

After that, we went to Hoofddorp to have some food and visit the Primark. A nice one over there, not that crowded and with tons of jewelry + shoes. 

Tomorrow my mum & sister are leaving for a two-week holiday at Bali, Indonesia. Next year it's my turn again, if school and stuff end up well.

Yesterday i attended Little Dragon's concert @ Lantaren/Venster Rotterdam with Nancy. It was a chill evening: cool band + nice music + chill audience.
And the Swedish-Japanese lead singer Yukimi Nagano is just SO awesome.

I feel sad for America and his ban on Kinder Surprise eggs

Kinder Surprise is an Italian manufactured chocolate egg containing a small collectible toy. Each year there are several head collections of toys, together with some seasonal/limited editions. Real business in Europe.

On January 10, 2011, it was reported that a Kinder egg was seized from a woman's car during a random inspection while entering the United States from Canada. She was informed that bringing the egg into the United States could result in a $300 fine. ?!?! WHUTT

I just watched a German documentary about this surprise eggs i also bought when i was young & it's so interesting. 
All those facts, real collectors, business and even people who copy the real puppets because limiteds can be worth thousands of euros. It makes me wanna join that business full of obsessed people. Also because my inner-collector secretly loves it.

I've been watching the Belgian tv programme Basta constantly these days. A bunch of nephews who also made the comic series of Kabouter Wesley (which i also like a lot).

Conclusion: no matter what they do, Belgians are cute. 

Just the way they talk, their unlimited politeness, the stupid things they do in the show, the funny things are even funnier because they're Belgian.... too bad it were only 6 episodes!
