Caviar nails

Spotted this trend on the blogs recently; caviar nails.
Ciaté made a beautiful but expensive set for caviar manicure, but i decided to buy the 'mini beads' on Ebay. Same effect, way cheaper.

One thing. Wearing this kind of nail art isn't handy. Stuck in your hair, feels weird, constantly being careful not losing any beads. But the effect ís worth it!

Mondrian nails

Made this nail art inspired by Dutch painter Piet Mondriaan. Tomorrow my last exam about new media... featuring a 300 paged book i haven't read woohooo. Awesome. See ya in couple of days.

Nail art: Monarch Butterfly

My project for hours, yesterday i saw this tutorial how to make Monarch Butterfly nails & decided to give it a try!
I used Kiko nail polish (orange), Essence nail art pen (black) and for the dots Catrice nail polish (in 470-Snow Motion!).

You don't have to be productive, as long as you're creative

Leopardish

New stuff, new nails! I used Catrice's Be My Millionaire + a black Nail Art Pen from Essence (2+1 free this week).

The pen isn't a bad product but i must say the tip doesn't work properly all the time. Sometimes it just gives too much black polish which ruins my new freshy patterns instantly...
I also have a pen like this from Sally Hansen, more expensive but works way better to be honest. But with a bargain price of 2€ this Essence Nail Art Pen isn't a real bad buy!

Want: talking shirt

I want a rubber stamp set like this! Non-difficult creativeness is always fun. But Petit Bateau gives you washable ink so after washing your shirt, the print is ugly faded or completely gone.
Funny vid anyway.

edit: I couldn't resist the idea so i went to Le Petit Bateau shop in Rotterdam today. The kit didn't look that great & here in Holland it costs 14€ (or 7€ when you buy 2 other products)! No way.
I saw in France it was €6,50 and Germany sells it for €9,50...

Creative day

Made a moodboard for school this week, to show what i like, want, think etc. No self-made pics, we had to pretend we found the pics in random magazines.

Current addiction: Lucky paper stars

These days i'm folding all kinds of paper into mini origami stars: Lucky Paper Stars.
Read an 'how-to' about it last week, and right now i'm busy folding those stars. Although it has no purpose, it's just fun & addicting to do! I still use regular paper, from magazines or just white, but there even exist real LPS paper.
I read it's a popular thing to do in some Asian countries (like Japan), where they fold a lot of stars, put them in a jar & give them to people they like. It may bring some luck haha.
Just google 'how to fold lucky paper stars' if you want to try it ;)

DIY: Customize a T-shirt

Yesterday i bought this white V-neck shirt at Hema, after watching Brüno in the cinema with Nancy. Wasn't worth my dear money i think, funny moments but not amazing though.
Burn number two: Haven't got my Vapiano dessert 'crema di fragola'. Had some lemon pie from Dudok instead.
Burn number three: I wanted to customize my brand new shirt when i was home, but mummy said i had to wash it first.

Finally after a day of hard work today, my shirt was ready to use.
I chose an image from Mike Perry's 'Iron me on' book & started ironing. 2 minutes later it was done. I only had to wait some minutes till the sheet cooled down.

I like to be creative, but this wasn't difficult at all. It made me wanna customize more things, but i ran out of useful things.
Soon i want to buy more shirts, and i'm gonna look for some bags to use too.
