‘PVV verzamelt klachten over Polen’ kopten de kranten vanmorgen. De politieke partij van Geert Wilders heeft de website meldpuntmiddenenoosteuropeanen.nl in het leven geroepen waar klachten over Oost-Europeanen gemeld kunnen worden. 
Rapper Mr. Polska komt vandaag met een reactie in de vorm van meldpuntwaardevollegezelligheid.nl “Een plek waar ik alle waardevolle, gezellige ervaringen van Nederlanders met Oostblokkers wil verzamelen”.

Okay weirdest week of 2011

Yesterday i was going to interview the restaurant manager of the Euromast (185m high tower) in Rotterdam, when we suddenly saw a lot of police men and  we heard someone just jumped off the Euromast... terrible idea.

This week Catrice has introduced about 19 new colors, so for sure the hunting season is open again!
I've chosen two new colors (410 - Pool Party At Night & 490 - Iron Mermaiden) and the prismatic effects topcoat. Guess i'm gonna try this topcoat tomorrow to spice up my red nails.
Oh no.... already feel the need to buy more of them brothers and sisters to join my precious collection..

PS. I really really really need a big nail polish display. NOW

Catrice is doing sooo well since they've launched their Ultimate Nail Lacquer line in March 2010. I bet the company members are so happy at the moment, because every single thing they make seems to be popular!
Their whole collection looks nice, complete with Shu Uemura inspired eyeshadows & cheap nail polishes in almost every color you can imagine. I need to have some new stuff asap!

Collection Fifi Lapin @ Pimkie

Whooo i haven't been at Pimkie since i was 12 years old (good old times when i was wearing a yellow neon panty, glitterprinted shirts and carried a Pikachu bag).

It felt strange to visit the store after years but must admit: their products aren't even that bad at the moment!
What doesn't attract me though is the fact most of the stuff looks kinda overpriced to me. Brands like H&M and New Look have similar items but with a way better price.

HEMA Jip & Janneke vs. MAC Hello Kitty

Today i was at the Dutch store HEMA (sells all kinda home stuff, from cotton pads to candles) that launched a limited make-up collection featuring Jip & Janneke. They are a fictional drawed boy & girl who appear in Dutch books for children, but also on shirts, pens, stickers etcetera.
I haven't bought any of the make-up yet, but liked the silver nail polish much. It looks so cute!

But that wasn't my point today. I was looking at the Jip & Janneke collection when i immediately recognized the similarities with MAC's past Hello Kitty collection. Of course the quality isn't the same, but HEMA did a well job copying MAC's style!
Wouldn't be amused when i was from MAC, but as a normal customer i'm quite happy with HEMA leaving his old style slowly.

Today i found out my dear Babylon Circus will play another 4 (!) times in Holland this year.. unfortunately all of them are a bit far for me: Heerhugowaard, Deventer, Amsterdam and Maastricht. Damn it, but my addiction lasts hehe ;p

China killed you, dude

Another freakshow China story i heard today: A Chinese zoo accidentally killed it's giant panda Quan Quan after a faulty ventilation system pumped toxic gas into its enclosure. HOW SAD & AWFUL. Poor panda just suffocated.... They say it was an accident but i don't know..maybe they were just acting lame, what makes me feel even more disgusted about the way they threat animals there...

Coming up: Ridley Scott's Life in a day

Tomorrow everyone will have the chance to be part of this project by filming something of their lives. After receiving all kinds of material Kevin McDonald & Ridley Scott will make a movie out of it, which will be premiered in 2011 at Sundance Film Festival.
I'm excited for the movie!

A month ago Topshop launched this beautiful looking range of make-up! I love the look, i want it all!
I'm only wondering if the collection has a good quality, because it's the first cosmetic line Topshop ever made..
